Interactive, fun and relaxed was the brief Marketforce gave us for their annual publisher conference.
A venue that offered a sensory and interactive experience, whilst still offering top of the line presentation facilities and flexible meeting space was the order of the day, and we found the perfect venue in Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge.
The guest experience began with a driving activity on the handling track, skid circle and the 4×4 circuit. Guests then attended interactive sessions facilitated by internal Marketforce staff and discussed the morning over a networking lunch. There was also opportunity to peruse the cars on display, and to take a look at the sponsors areas which included pop up banners, and a F1 car cleverly constructed out of cardboard. The afternoon provided conference presentations by key staff and industry experts in the well-equipped Cinema.
Following the conclusion of the conference, a drinks reception was held in the Driven & Innovation Centre where guests could compete to win a prize for the fastest lap time in the F1 Simulators, or for those wanting a quiet drink and to take advantage of the views over Surrey, the Gullwing Bistro and Terrace offered some quiet space. The event concluded with dinner and dancing amongst the high-end luxury cars in the AMG Performance space, with guests dining on prosciutto with celeriac slaw, chicken with fondant potatoes and a cider jus, and vanilla parfait with strawberries. Accommodation was provided by Brooklands Hotel for those guests wishing to stay over.
