I love Champagne cocktails and this one is based on a French 75 which is one of my favourites – a combination of gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and Champagne.
This version from the Beauty Blogger uses gin or vodka, sparkling rosé, with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and elderflower liqueur.
To make it you will need (this recipe makes 1 serving):
- 60 mls Gin or Vodka
- 30 mls Elderflower liqueur
- 30 mls freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 60 mls pink, sparkling rosé
- lemon slices for garnish
Pour the gin (or vodka), elderflower liqueur and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker and combine. Pour into cocktail glasses and top up with chilled pink sparkling rosé.
Serve immediately and garnish with a lemon slice
